| SpecSys/Client FTP Services |
SpecSys provides to all its client's FTP services for file sharing. The FTP server is an in-house sever maintained by SpecSys for its clients to use for transfering data that would be considered too large to attach to emails. Using the FTP server is a service provided by SpecSys and can eleviate the cost and time of mailing cds of data back and forth.
For FTP service to be used to its full extent, a high-bandwidth connection is required. It can be used through any internet service, although a high speed connection is recommended.
The FTP site can be accessed through Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 and above (IE 6.0 recommended). Netscape and Mozilla have been tested and do not provide FTP access to our site. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
SpecSys suggests accessing the FTP server through a FTP Program. FTP programs can be purchased or downloaded on the web. There are many FREE, quality programs out there at this time. SpecSys suggests WS-FTP LE or FTP Explorer. Both can be downloaded from www.download.com.
